What should I do if my pipe is too long?

Many users will pay attention to a question when inquiring: your machine tool size is so short, what if my pipe is longer than your machine. Here is an introduction. The normal length of our steel pipe bending machine is about three meters, so if the mandrel is used, the pipe fittings within this size range can be used normally. If the mandrel is not used, because the middle of our feeding car is hollow, Pipe fittings can be freely shuttled. Then we only need to improve the gripper to satisfy the use, so no matter how long your pipe is, it will have no effect on the machine (Figure 1).

However, if the customer considers the problem of land occupation, the raw material can be used for the coil, and then a straightening machine is added after the automatic pipe bending machine to straighten the coil and send it to the cnc pipe bending machine for bending.

If the pipe is long and needs a mandrel, we provide two solutions. One is for the normal machine to 6 meters, which will be solved by extending the length of the machine (Figure 2).

However, the cost of increasing the length of the machine tool above 6 meters is too high. Our solution is to increase the support at the end and place the core through mechanism on the support as shown in Figure 3

However, this does not solve all the length problems. When the pipe fitting is too long, the core rod will also cause inaccurate sagging and positioning due to too long. Therefore, it is recommended to bend the pipe fittings that are too long in sections as much as possible, and break them at a suitable point.
